The drive will take approximately 6.5 hours. Along the way, there \u00a0will be a brief stop in Thanh S\u01a1n, where you can admire the tea plantations on the hills. Afterward, we will \u00a0continue our journey towards Thu Cuc and Nghia Lo. Inhabited by the Hmong peoples, this narrow \u00a0valley is quiet and non touristic which is quite different from Ta Phin or Muong Hoa valleys where the local \u00a0peoples have changed much because of the strong influence of tourism.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Itinerary:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide and driver for a short road transfer along the national road 4D \u00a0northeastwards to the trekking point. Trekking uphill on a large and rocky path for 2 hours along the narrow \u00a0valley which runs between two high mountains passing two hamlets of the Black H\u2019mong of Sa Pa Commune: \u00a0<\/span><b>Sau Chua and Sa Seng<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The H\u2019mong peoples here have just recently change their living way from sifting \u00a0style into the sedentary one. So there are still a lot traces of the past time can be seen: rudimentary houses, \u00a0stone wall around homes\u2026 Lunch break in the village.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After Lunch, continue along the same trail gradually uphill the <\/span><b>Den Thang mountain <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for an hour to Hang \u00a0Da Village of the H\u2019mong which sits at 1,800m height and over looking down the <\/span><b>Muong Hoa Valley<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Paying \u00a0visit to several local homes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leaving <\/span><b>Hang Da <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and enjoy easy walk on high elevation for half an hour which offers great view of <\/span><b>Muong \u00a0Hoa Valley <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">until arriving to <\/span><b>Thao Hong Den<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, another village of the <\/span><b>Black H\u2019mong<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The drive takes at least 5 hours passing through the countryside, \u00a0villages, and towns in far Northeast Vietnam. After lunch in a local restaurant, continue to Ha Giang. On \u00a0arrival in the mid-afternoon, visit <\/span><b>Tha Cultural Village <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which is 5 Km away from the town center. The \u00a0village is home to the <\/span><b>Tay people <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and is surrounded by rice terraces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On this route, we spend time passing by some highlight places as <\/span><b>Bac Sum Slope \u2013 Quan Ba Heaven\u2019s Gate; \u00a0Quan Ba Twin Moutain Fairy (Nui Doi Quan Ba). <\/b>You will have some time to drink caf\u00e9 in the middle \u00a0of the mountain and watch the amazing view of Ha Giang. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If time permits, you can visit <\/span>the Lung Khuy \u00a0Cave<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The short walk leading to the cave will show you some beautiful views of the countryside. On the way, we will visit <\/span><b>Chin \u00a0Khoanh Slope (Nine Turning Point Slope); and L\u0169ng C\u1ea9m Culture Village (With Film Studio \u2018Story of \u00a0Pao\u2019)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where mainly Hmong people and some other ethnic minority groups such as Hoa and Lo Lo etc. For \u00a0centuries it is there as a \u201cpeaceful oasis\u201d inside the beautiful <\/span><b>Sung La Valley<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The architecture of houses in \u00a0the village, farming practices, and customs of the people in Lung Cam village represent the traditional \u00a0culture of the H\u2019mong people in the Dong Van UNESCO Global Geopark. Continuing, we visit <\/span><b>Dinh Vua M\u00e8o (Vuong\u2019s Palace) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 the ancient villa of <\/span><b>Vuong \u00a0Chinh Duc<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Dinner and overnight in Cao Bang.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Distance Meo Vac \u2013 Cao Bang: 200km \u2013 6 hours<br \/>\n<\/b><b>Overnight in Cao Bang<br \/>\n<\/b><b>Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #808000;\">Day 9: Cao Bang \u2013 Ban Gioc Waterfall \u2013 Nguom Ngao Cave (B, L, D)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After breakfast, visit <\/span><b>Ban Gioc Waterfall <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on the China-Vietnam border which is 85 KM from Cao Bang. Ban \u00a0Gioc is one of the largest and the most impressive waterfalls in Vietnam, get your eyes amazed by the white \u00a0water, picturesque blue sky, great limestone mountains, and stunning rice fields \u2013 a great chance ever for \u00a0the photo shoot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a picnic lunch, visit <\/span><b>Nguom Ngao Cave<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, one of the largest in the area. It has many fascinating stalactites \u00a0in different shapes. After that, we run to Lang Son for sleep\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Overnight in Cao Bang<br \/>\n<\/b><b>Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #808000;\">Day 10: Cao Bang \u2013 Ba Be (B, L, D)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Breakfast at the hotel, we transfer from Cao Bang to Ba Be in the next 3 hours. On your arrival, we will drive \u00a0to <\/span><b>Pac Ngoi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a village of the Tay people where stilt houses are built in the traditional style. You walk through \u00a0the village to learn about the life of the people in the Ba Be lake area and have lunch in a traditional local \u00a0restaurant here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After lunch, we will keep driving further to <\/span><b>Hua Ma cave<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, through the field, this is a dry cave with numerous \u00a0stalactites like a forest of rocks, but to conquer this cave, you have to climb more than 300 steps. A beautiful \u00a0valley behind the mountains is <\/span><b>Na Slai village <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">where there is another Tay village and a high waterfall falls \u00a0from the top of the mountain. You can swim in this waterfall. Return to Ba Be lake to take a walk and visit \u00a0ancient caves, and the 2km forest patrol trail, before reaching the wharf you can do a kayaking tour if you \u00a0still have stamina left or just normally relax. Then, you will sleep one night with BBQ dinner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Distance Cao Bang \u2013 Ba Be: 110km \u2013 3 hours<br \/>\n<\/b><b>Overnight in Ba Be<br \/>\n<\/b><b>Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #808000;\">Day 11: Ba Be \u2013 Trekking in Ba Be National Park (B, L, D)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7:30 am, after breakfast, you will pick up by boat, the boatman will take you around the first part of Ba Be \u00a0lake called <\/span><b>Pe Lam<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, then cross around two islands of <\/span><b>Po Gia Mai<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The boatman will then take you along the \u00a0lakeside to watch the bunches of ancient tree roots hanging down to the water. Huge and long. Next, the \u00a0area of lake two and lake three are smaller, the yellow monkeys often come down to drink and catch fish, it\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is crystal clear and deep water here. Straight to the Nang river at the end of the lake, the boatman will move \u00a0up the river to <\/span><b>Puong Cave<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this is a very large cave with a large mouth and many giant stalactites, in a dark \u00a0corner the home of thousands of bats. On the other part of the dry cave above have found archaeological \u00a0remains of prehistoric people living here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will continue down the <\/span><b>Nang River<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the boatman will stop at a riverside to visit a Tay ethnic village, a \u00a0walking tour through the village to see how people here work on the fields. Reaching <\/span><b>Dau Dang Waterfall<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u00a0we have lunch at a nearby riverside village restaurant. Returning to Ba Be Lake, you will visit <\/span><b>An Ma \u00a0Temple, take a short trek through the jungle, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and reach the wharf. If you still have energy, you can do a \u00a0kayaking tour.
