Full Itinerary<\/span><\/h2>\n

Day 1: Hanoi\u2013 Ba Be Lake (L, D)<\/h3>\n

At around 06:00 AM \u2013 06:30 AM, check out your hotel in Hanoi, and then our driver and tour guide will pick you up in the early morning at your hotel in Hanoi and begin your journey through North-eastern Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The drive to the national park is roughly 240 kilometers long, and on the way, we will stop in a local Tay village, where you will get to spend some time learning about their traditions and rice farming.<\/p>\n

Once you arrive in Ba Be National Park,<\/strong> you will board a boat and head down<\/strong> the Nang River<\/strong> as it winds through wild and rugged landscapes before reaching Puong Grotto<\/strong>, where you can marvel at the impressive stalagmites and stalactites found within.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, you will continue along the river until you reach Ban Can village<\/strong> where Tay ethnic minority people live on the river bank.<\/p>\n

Take a walk through the village<\/strong> before getting on a boat which will take you to Ba Be Lake. Here you will get to visit Widow Island<\/strong> (named for the local legend regarding the lake) and those who wish can go for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters.<\/p>\n

Next, we\u2019ll go to the local restaurant for dinner. Finally, come to your hotel, check in, and relax.<\/p>\n

Day 2: Ba Be Lake \u2013 Cao Bang (B, L, D)<\/h3>\n

In the morning, embark on a scenic 90km drive to Cao Bang province<\/strong>, a region renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse ethnic communities, including the Hmong, Dzao, Tho, and Nung people.<\/strong> Here, these groups coexist in harmony, offering a unique cultural tapestry.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and savor a delicious local lunch.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, journey to Pac Po Cave,<\/strong> a significant historical site where President Ho Chi Minh resided after his return to Vietnam in 1941 following 30 years abroad. This cave served as his base for revolutionary activities.<\/p>\n

Later in the day, return to the Cao Bang city center to experience the local culinary delight of special steamed rice rolls<\/strong>, known for their delicate texture and savory fillings.<\/p>\n

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic three-hour drive from Cao Bang to the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall<\/strong>, one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Ban Gioc waterfall spans over 300 meters<\/em>, split half and half between Vietnam and China. You\u2019ll get some time here to simply take in the amazing atmosphere surrounding the falls, which presents an excellent opportunity for some fantastic photography.<\/p>\n

Following your visit to Ban Gioc, continue your adventure to Nguom Ngao Cave<\/strong>, located just a short drive away. Nguom Ngao Cave, known for its impressive limestone formations, offers a fascinating underground world to explore. With a length of over 2,100 meters, the cave features magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, formed over thousands of years, creating a stunning and otherworldly atmosphere.<\/p>\n
