  1. I'm Vietnamese American and my father is from Ho Chi Minh City and I have been to Vietnam plenty of times to visit my father's homeland and it's an amazing place and yes I speak Tieng Viet very fluently!

  3. There are restaurants that have prices VAT excluded, which confuses me. Like how much is that VAT? Why don't they include it into the menus to begin with?

  4. Another tips for menstruators, tampons are hard to find in Vietnam, although big supermarkets or shopping centers have them, there're mostly non-applicator ones. There's one brand called Sofy that has the applicator ones but there's only Super available, so, if you're gonna travel to Vietnam and have to be specific with the brand ur using, make sure to bring your own!
