1. Bai Dinh Pagoda
The temple is located about 95 kilometers south of Hanoi center. It has many things for you to visit and explore. 2. Non Nuoc Pagoda
Non Nuoc Pagoda in Ninh Binh is an ancient temple and also a national historical vestige. The pagoda is located at the foot of Non Nuoc Mountain, on the banks of the Day River and the estuary of the Van River. 3. Temples in Ninh Binh
a. King Dinh Tien Hoang
King Dinh Tien Hoang Temple is an ancient temple with the great historical value of Vietnam. King Dinh Tien Hoang Temple is located in Truong Yen commune, Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh. It was situated in the center of Hoa Lu ancient capital in the past. This is the only place in Vietnam worshiped King Dinh Tien Hoang, his parents, his sons, and the altar of the Dinh Dynasty. King Dinh Temple together with King Le Temple was ranked “Top 100 100 famous architecture in Vietnam”.
b. King Le Dai Hanh Temple
It is a national historical and cultural relic belonging to the special vestige of Hoa Lu old capital, Ninh Binh province. People worship King Le Dai Hanh, Queen Duong Van Nga, Le Long Dinh. In addition, there are also altars that worship Princess Le Thi Phat Ngan and General Pham Cu Luong. The temple is located about 300 meters from the Temple of Dinh Tien Hoang, Hoa Lu ancient capital. Now, it belongs to Yen Thanh ancient village, Truong Yen commune, Ninh Binh province. The temple of King Le is smaller than the temple of King Dinh. So, the space in the temple is quite close.
c. Truong Han Sieu Temple
Truong Han Sieu Temple is located at the foot of Non Nuoc Mountain in Duc Thuy Son Park and near the Day River, Ninh Binh province. Truong Han Sieu Temple and Non Nuoc Mountain create a cultural and sacred center in Ninh Binh province. It is suitable for native people and foreigners who would like to admire the beauty or walk around the temple to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
d. Chau Son monastery
Chau Son Monastery is a monastery of the Xitô that is located in Phu Son commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. This monastery is located 65 kilometers from Phat Diem stone church, 35 kilometers from Ninh Binh city, and 97 km from Hanoi. Chau Son Monastery was built in 1939 and has a special architecture. Guests can come here to enjoy fresh air and beautiful mountain scenery.
e. Phu Khong
Phu Khong worships the of the first mandarinate the Dinh Dynasty. He is called “Dinh Cong Tiet Che”. Phu Khong is located at the foot of the mountain and next to the centenary tree with many legends. Some of the mandarinates did not comply with King Le Hoan. Even, those mandarinates opposed to him. Dinh Cong was confined to this area. After hearing that mandarinates who opposed Le Hoan were defeated, Dinh Cong committed suicide. The people set up the temple for him in the place where he was detained.
f. Thung La Temple
Thung La Temple is located next to Thung Lau in the high mountain. People say that in the past, there was a queen that often divined leaves for King Dinh Tien Hoang before opposing the invaders or doing something. This place also has a lot of medicinal plants. Especially, when King Dinh wounded, he was taken here for treatment. People often come to Thung La temple to burn incense before going to the forest for peace to return.
g. Thai Vi Temple
Thai Vi is the temple that is situated in Van Lam village, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. It worships King Tran Thai Tong, Tran Thanh Tong, Tran Nhan Tong, Tran Anh Tong, and Queen mother. Moreover, it is said that the temple was built on the royal palaces of the Tran dynasty. Thai Vi Temple is the oldest temple and still retains the integrity after thousands of years.

4. Phat Diem church
Phat Diem church is one of the Catholic Cathedrals and it is situated in Phat Diem town, Ninh Binh province. It is about 120 kilometers south of Hanoi. Phat Diem Cathedral is considered as one of the most beautiful churches in Vietnam. The church was built entirely of stone and wood. It was started and completed from 1875 to 1898. The unique feature of this architecture is that it is imitated by the traditional temples and pagodas of Vietnam.
